If you have ever been to an illegal rave, if you have ever bought a drink in a club at 0130, or if even if you have ever been to an after party, then you have 90s rave culture to thank.
Adamski was one of the orchestrators, and subsequently became the poster boy of the scene. Currently reworking his 1989 classic album Liveanddirect as Vile Acid Rent, Adamski was made into a household name when his first single N-R-G hit #12 in the charts, and its follow up, Killer (feat. Seal) hit #1. More recently he has had success with his Ape-X track released on hip label Kitsune, and when his ‘We are all Prostitutes’ collaboration with Mark Stewart was remixed by The Crookers.
He will be playing a DJ set consisting of all of his new current music, tracks from the original Liveandirect, and the reworked versions from his Vile Acid Rent.
He is supported on the night by NIYI, Kezokichi, and Buster Bennett.
£3 before 2300, £5 after.
All press / guestlist requests to niyi@iheartniyi.com.
